    Healing Harp - 8 Week Beginner Class

    Learn to play the harp for your personal enjoyment and healing with Portia Diwa. You will learn harp technique, music fundamentals, and build a repertoire. Specific training techniques are used to help you learn quickly and joyfully. Classes are kept small to assure individualized attention. No prior musical experience is required.     Spring: Mon 4/22 to 6/24, 10-11:15am
    Thurs 4/25 to 6/20, 5:45-7pm

    Summer: Mon 7/15 to 9/9, 10-11:15am
    Thurs 7/18 to 9/5, 5:45-7pm
    Fall: Mon 10/7 to 12/2, 10-11:15am
    Thurs 10/10 to 12/12, 5:45-7pm

    Portia Diwa is the Healing Harp Clinical Faculty at the Institute for Health & Healing. She teaches Healing Harp classes, private lessons, and is on the faculty of CPMC's Integrative Medicine Education Program. Portia's knowledge of traditional world music, relaxed harp technique and improvisation provide the foundation for her Healing Harp classes.
