Tehila Eisenstat , Artist
Palo Alto Medical Foundation Growing up by the Mediterranean Sea, Tehila began her artistic career as a child, watching the beautiful color changes at sunset. "I think that is where I started to see and understand colors and become inspired to paint." She is a colorist, using light and nature to create a mood and to capture the mystery and drama. Tehila was trained in architecture and design. However, her main love is impressionist painting, which she studied with master artists in the United States and Europe. Working mainly in oil and acrylic, Tehila paints a broad range of subjects. She is an impressionist/expressionist who draws inspiration from masters such as Pissaro, Monet, Matisse and Cezanne. Tehila resides on the Monterey Peninsula and travels extensively both in the United States and abroad, where she paints and collects ideas for her new works. Tehila lectures and teaches in her studios and overseas. She has started an art program for multiple support groups as part of the Healing Arts program at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California. Her works are shown in galleries in the Pacific Northwest and in private collections around the world. She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, Allied Artists of America and a signature member of the National Acrylic Painter's Association (United Kingdom and USA). |
