Infant Care (Mountain View)

This class is designed for couples who have limited experience with infants.
The instructor is a health educator and covers basic information on caring for your infant. Designed to increase your confidence through the transition to parenthood, this course includes newborn appearance and behavior including discussion of interpreting your baby's cues and sleep/wake cycles. Methods for swaddling, bathing, diapering and soothing newborns will be demonstrated and practiced.
Class format includes demonstrations, student participation, video clips and lecture.
