Introduction to Solids (Palo Alto)
This single-session, hour and a half, interactive class is based on the work of internationally known pediatric feeding specialist and author Ellyn Satter.
The class is recommended for parents of children 4 to 6 months of age, who are beginning to think about introducing solid food.
The class explores the parent's role in supporting the child's ability to develop lifelong positive eating habits. Topics include learning to recognize baby cues that indicate readiness for solid foods, what to feed, how to feed and how behavioral issues may affect how a child will eat.
Class is taught by a registered dietitian.
***Infants are welcome in this class***
