Classes and Education

Taught by a childbirth educator this class includes nine hours of instruction and is designed for first-time births. Class is held over a weekend, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The last class includes a tour of El Camino Hospital Labor-Delivery unit. You will learn about signs and stages of labor, birthing options, medical and non-medical interventions, relaxation methods and hospital procedures. C-sections are discussed. Fee covers mother and partner.
