Diabetes Daytime Support Group (San Francisco)
Adult Diabetes Support Group provides an opportunity to share experiences and learn new strategies. Moderated by a certified diabetes educator. Topics include: *Personal health care mythology *Building your team *Exercise therapy: Feldendreis, Tai Chi, Yoga *Goals that help, goals that hinder *Family beliefs, family roles: support or sabotage? *Coping with slips and lapses *Who`s in charge? *Getting to know your denial *Staying motivated
*What`s grief got to do with it? *Stress reduction in practice *Peer support and discussions. Free. Offered monthly, 4th Wednesday except November when it is the third Wednesday (and no meeting for December). Time 11am to 12:30pm. Please call to register (415) 600-0506
