Bariatric Surgery has given hope to patients who have struggled with obesity. At the Alta Bates Summit bariatric surgery program, we offer patients innovative surgical options as well as our unique, proactive approach for support in dealing with the life long changes that occur following surgical treatment of obesity. This support group is geared toward patients who have already had the surgery. However, we encourage anyone who is considering bariatric surgery to come to this support group to get the perspective of those who have gone before them. Prospective patients are encouraged to bring a list of questions.
