    Integrative Restoration (iRest) - 8 Week Class

    Through a series of 30-40 minute guided meditations, body sensing, and breath awareness techniques, you'll learn how to release negative emotions and thought patterns, calm your nervous system, and develop a greater sense of well-being.

    Based on the ancient meditation practice of Yoga Nidra or "conscious sleep", iRest uses deep relaxation, breathing and meditation to systematically reduce physical, emotional, and mental pain. iRest invites you to discover a sense of peace that is always present, regardless of your life circumstances.     Richard Miller is a clinical psychologist and teacher of Eastern spirituality. He has developed and researched iRest, an adaptation of the ancient meditation practice of Yoga Nidra, for the past 40 years. IRest is a deeply relaxing practice that includes breath awareness, guided meditation and body sensing. It offers you "tools for life" - enabling you to rise above stress, anxiety, fear and pain.
