The Basics of Alzheimer's
The Basics presentation is an overview of Alzheimer's disease. After attending this presentation, you will understand the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia. You will know the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and how it affects the brain. You will also know how to access the resources available to individuals with Alzheimer's disease.

California Pacific Medical Center Laura, the Brain Health Center's Family Care Specialist through the Alzheimer's Association, is a certified care manager with over 10 years experience working with the geriatric population and their families. Laura has extensive experience working collaboratively with medical professionals to determine the needs for short- and long-term care patients, providing individual care assessments for families, and responding to crisis situations. |
