    Please note: The date shown for any series of classes refers to the starting date only. Most classes in a series are held on consecutive weeks. Dates around holidays or in special circumstances may be subject to change. All class dates and exceptions will be clearly noted in your confirmation letter.

    This 6-week class is designed to help you cope with the physical changes of pregnancy, and the emotional and physical intensity of childbirth.Ideally, the class should be completed 4-6 weeks prior to your due date. Next class : January 22
    This class is for those who have little or no experience with babies. New parents are encouraged to take this class. Next class : January 6

    In this one session class, our certified lactation consultant will provide mothers and their partners with the strategies they need to get breastfeeding off to a solid start. Next class : January 8
    This comprehensive series covers breathing techniques, relaxation methods, stages of labor and delivery, hospital procedures, postpartum recovery, and birthing options to prepare you and your partner for your upcoming birth experience. Next class : January 23

    This class is taught by a certified CPR instructor and is appropriate for first-time parents and grandparents. Next class : January 4
    Tour of Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center including the perinatal unit, nursery and a private suite. Next class : December 21
    Led by a PAMF Santa Cruz Division pediatrician, you will learn about what happens in the hospital and what to look for in the first few weeks with baby. The doctor covers feeding, common skin conditions, colic and when to call for help. Next class : January 18
    Each seminar is led by a registered HICAP counselor and will cover: the A, B, Cs (and D) of Medicare Original vs. Medicare Advantage, when and how to enroll, choosing a drug plan, supplementing Medicare. Next class : January 23
