Free Introductory Mindful Moms Session (Palo Alto)

Mindful Moms offers well-researched and evidence-based tools to support health and wellness for mothers with children of all ages. Neuroscience research has demonstrated the powerful benefits of mindfulness meditation, including its ability to reduce stress, improve mood, and treat chronic conditions such as anxiety and depression. Come try out a session by attending our Free Introductory Mindful Moms Session.

Sessions include mindfulness meditation, gentle yoga, authentic sharing, and group building exercises. Emphasis is placed on creating a deep sense of community, which is essential for us as mothers.

  • Learn mindfulness tools to reduce stress and anxiety while boosting overall wellbeing.
  • Practice mindfulness-based yoga to calm your body and invite your mind into the present moment more fully.
  • Share authentically about the realities of motherhood in a safe and supportive space, so you can offload tension, reset your system and go home with greater patience for your children.
  • Develop safety and trust with the other mothers in the circle, as you come back session after session to connect and support each other with the most important job in the world.

    WHO ATTENDS?

Our Mindful Moms group is meant for all mothers, regardless of age of children. We find that the mothers who seek our support the most are those with toddlers and pre-teens/teens, although we invite any and all mothers to participate! The age range offers a multifaceted experience for all involved.

(Although children and toddlers are not permitted at the group, mothers are welcome to bring non-mobile infants with special permission of the instructor.)
