    Question

i want to begin excersising and i am aware that stretching is very important. can you tell me the different groups of muscles you need to stretch?

    Answer

It depends on what kind of exercise you want to do. It's good to get a good warm up and stretch of all your major muscle groups in the arms and legs, but you will want to focus on the groups that you will be working out the most - eg stretching your legs (quads, hamstrings, calves) before running. You can check out some basic books on fitness in the library if you have questions - or talk to your doctor or PE teacher for more advice!
