    Question

I recently had my nipples pierced about 4 days ago and i have not experienced unusual promblem or complications with them however i would like to take them out (just because i don't like them ) and i was wondering how i should go about doing so? Could i take them out myself? Would it be unsafe to take them out before they heal? Also is there a chance of getting an infection by taking them out so early? also what is the damage that can be cause by keeping them in.if you could just e mail me back i would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT THANK YOU VERY MUCH

and how would i go about removing the jewlery

    Answer

It is perfectly fine to take out the pierces now. You should heal up just fine.

Usually pierces are secured by twisting. I have not removed a nipple pierce so I don't know for sure, but you can try twisting them and see if they come unscrewed. If not go back to the shop that put them In and they will take them out.

You have LESS of a chance of getting infected if you take them out now. If you leave them there is a risk of scar formation or later infections. People seem to be able to breast feed after piercing just fine.
