    Question

Why does risperdal make white substances come from your breast?

    Answer

As with some other medications, Risperdal can elevate the serum prolactin. When elevated, this hormone can stimulate the breasts to produce milk. This condition is called galactorrhea. Because other conditions can also cause galactorrhea, it would be recommended that you see your Pediatrician or Family Physician for an evaluation.
