    Question

Dr Greene told us there is information on teen "essential hypertension" on this website. I am not finding it. could you please help us? Thank you

    Answer

We do not yet have this information on the website. Essential hypertension is high blood pressure without an identifiable cause (for example kidney disease). If it is not very high it is not necessary to treat with medication. A healthy, low salt diet, exercise and reduction of stress (try yoga!)would be helpful.
