hey I'm 14 and I'm getting my tongue pierced and all this stuff but my mom want me to check out all the bad things that have happened and the main thing she wants me to find out is can i lose my sense of taste or taste buds?

Mom wins. You can loose taste and the jewelry can do some serious damage to your teeth. The final worry is that the piercing can get infected. Please think about this, check some of the information out on our site about choosing a piercing studio, and be careful.
