    Question

I just found out I was pregnant the 14th of October but on Sunday I spotted blood and the following day I didn't have it any more. I wanted to know if that's bad also I've been having this really bad itch that I can't stand it comes and go's please help...thank you...by the way i got my period last month September 14.

    Answer

The itching is likely from a yeast infection. This is no risk to the pregnancy and is easily and safely treated with over the counter anti yeast creams, such as miconazole or clotrimazole.

Small amounts of spotting are common in early pregnancy and don't usually mean any risk.

I assume you are taking a multivitamin daily. This lowers the chances of some birth defects. You should see a health care provider soon to discuss pregnancy management.
