Question
I'm still a virgin but my hymen has torn due to excessive exercise about a year ago. Recently, my boyfriend fingered me and I have light bleeding the next morning I woke up. Is this normal? Will everything be alright if the bleeding only lasted for few days? He also fingered me a few months ago and it also bled, but only lasted for 3 days. I didn't visit any doctor for the bleeding.
I would like to know that if any damages made inside me, will there be any side effect, like I can't get pregnant in the future?
Answer
Bleeding with stretching of the hymen is quite normal, whether from intercourse or foreplay. If the bleeding continues for more than 3 days you may want to see a health care provider.
I am also assuming you don't have other bleeding problems, like easy bruising or prolonged nose or gum bleeding. If so, definitely see a provider sooner.
