    Question

Is it okay to cut, but not all the time?

    Answer

Cutting yourself at anytime is considered to be self destructive and a very strong sign that the person needs treatment usually for depression and or anxiety. Although many people report cutting themselves as a way of "coping" with painful feelings, it is not a healthy way to cope and can often become more frequent and even addicting.
