    Question

I had been talking to this boy online and I had a crush on him. But when I told him I was over the crush he started avoiding me. We were best friends and I even called him (and he lives in another state). I'm not sure why he's doing this. Could it be he had feelings for me but didn't say anything? If he did, could it be that I hurt him?

    Answer

I am sorry to say that he obviously was not really your best friend, or he would not be avoiding you. If his feelings were hurt I think he will get over it, talk to you, and the friendship will continue.

I imagine your feelings are hurt and you should tell him so, then find other friends.

Please be careful when online. Some people pretend to be young people and friends but are not. Remember to never give out personal information like phone numbers and addresses, and make sure your parents know who you are chatting with, and that the people you chat with know your parents are monitoring the communication!

    Be safe!
