    For over 10 years, teens have been asking us questions on every topic imaginable. While we are no longer taking new questions, we have a wealth of information we would like to share with teenagers.

    When do you reply to these messages? I'm getting desperate.

    Answer

    Your recent email to our teen Web site sounds like you are in an emotional crisis and, unfortunately, it is difficult for us to provide you with that type of support online. Please seek help from a trusted adult or physician or call a hotline.

    We receive hundreds of questions via e-mail and have set up our Web site to respond to the most frequently asked questions, as well as provide additional information on topics of interest to teens. We do our best to post answers to new questions submitted within one week, but sometimes it takes longer to respond.

    Possibly your question already has been answered in our FAQ section, or use the keyword search in our general topics area. We also encourage you to search our Web site for any information you are looking for on a particular topic.

    Again, talk to a trusted adult or friend who would be able to provide you with the emotional support you need at this time.
