    Question

I was dating this guy for bout 3 - 4 months and I fell in love with him. We had sex and it was consentual but there was 2 occasions that I said no and he made me do it. I didn't put much of a fight because he bout 2 - 3 times my size. Even though I didn't put much of a fight up is it still rape? I still cry over it and its been a few months since this happened. How can I get over it and quit crying?

    Answer

I am so sorry that this happened to you. Sexual assault is wrong and it hurts no matter what. People that you love and love you are not supposed to coerce or force you to have sex.

You have some healing to do, and having someone to help is important. You can call 1-800-656-HOPE or visit www.rainn.org to find someone in your area who can help.

    Good luck.
