i know i am kind of young but i wanted 2 know if i was ready 4 a boyfriend i think i am but i dont know if the boy i like likes me back. should i tell him? and if yes should we become a couple??
Answer
You're asking great questions, like many girls your age, wondering when/what/how/etc. You're interested in a boy and wondering just what can come of it. Well, what does "boyfriend" mean to you exactly, what would it look like, what activities and behaviors would it include and not include? What does "couple" mean, and there too, what would you expect that would be like? Begin to think of your own definitions of these things, talk with friends and see how you do or do not include similar things in your picture of "boyfriend/couple". Stay in touch with siblings, parents, friends, learn how others feel or felt as they approached this. And certainly get to know the boy you're interested in better, whether it's telling him you're interested, or just creating conversation about movies/books/interests; don't be afraid to be yourself, and remember he may be nervous or questioning himself in the same way.
