    Question

I have had an unusual discharge for sometime now. I have high-risk HPV and have had gonorrhea, BV, yeast infection, and have been treated. My discharge in the vagina is creamy (almost like vaseline though) and is eggshell to a cream color. When I engage in intercourse with my boyfriend it becomes sticky and clumps up on the shaft of his penis as well as the opening of my vagina. I have asked my gynecologist about this before but she has cultured me 3 times already and nothing has shown up. I am 19 and this is ruining a relationship that I want to last till I die. Any ideas of what this could be or how I can help it?

    Answer

If you have had multiple exams and tests by your gynecologist the discharge is most likely normal. Discharge can increase and become thicker sometimes with use of oral contraceptive pills. Every woman produces different amounts of discharge. If your boyfriend truly cares about you, he should not care about discharge. If he wants to be more hygienic he should always wear a condom with intercourse (which he should be doing already!)
