    Question

I've been dating this guy online for awhile, and he has asked me for my phone number, and/or address so he could talk to me or send me stuff for my b-y andx-mas. Sould i give him any of that information?

    Answer

Wow! I am so glad that you are asking this question! The answer is "NO!" Never give out your personal information to people you have met on-line, and here is why. This person may not be who he says he is and or dangerous. If he is asking for your information, maybe you could get his name, address, and phone number first and then have your parents (and or the police)check him out and then help you decide whether or not to give him any of your information.

I am really not being too worried - he is trying to bribe you into providing the information with the idea of receiving gifts - a big red flag! Before you gave him any information, your parents would have to OK this - please talk to them. Good job for thinking about this!
