What is the normal heart rate for Americans between the ages of 15 and 18?
Answer
Heart rate depends in part on fitness as well as age. A typical resting heart rate for a teenager is between 65 and 80. However, caffeine, anxiety or excitement can raise it. An extremely fit athelete may have a resting heart rate of 50.
