Question
I have read a lot about what causes swollen taste buds, but what do you do about them?
Answer
I think you may mean swollen salivary glands, which may be causes by minor mouth trauma, such as biting your tongue. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do, other than let it heal by itself. Avoiding tart or acidic foods, such as orange juice, will make you more comfortable while it heals.
