Question
I'm not sure if I kno the correct answer or not to this but I at least need an expert to satisfy me. I am 14 years old. Most of the girls I kno have 34-36B cup bras. I am an A cup...Im not sure what number. I feel really small compared to them and it's not good for my self esteem at all. I've been teased too. Most girls I kno have gotten their period in the beginning of 7th grade, some at the end of 6th...some in the middle of 6th. Me...I've gotten mine in May of 8th grade. Do I have a chance of having a bigger bra cup since I got my period later? Am I just going to mature later? Please answer me..I've always wondered!
Answer
It is absolutely normal to have small breasts at your age. Many young women develop into their adult bodies very gradually - over a period of years. Wherever you are in that process, chances are that your breasts are the perfect size for you right now. In the meantime there is no proven "method" or exercise for increasing breast size - and you would be wise to avoid considering surgery or medications. As for how you feel about your body - I hope you can feel positive about every aspect of who you are - your body is just a part of the overall you.
