    Question

I'm in a very loving relationship, although its a long-distance one. We've talked a lot and I've grown comfortable with him. He's coming to Canada from America soon though, and he hasn't asked, but I would like to have sex with him. I'm afraid though that when he leaves to go back I'll be devastated, which I probably will be. My question is: Is it wise to have a long distance relationship, especially at a younger age (13 to 15)?

    Answer

I am glad you asked. I hope that your parents know about this relationship and that the boy you have been talking to is also your age and not a sexual predator who has lured you into a relationship on the Internet. Please be careful and make sure to take a parent when you meet this boy!

I also have to say that you may be too young to start sexual relationships, and I am glad that you realize how sad you might be when he leaves. My advice is -- enjoy building a relationship first and save sex for later -- most girls wish they had waited longer.
