    Question

Five years ago my dad worked in Saudi since the pay is way better, but recently my parents want a divorce. My mom says that she thinks that my dad doesn't want to be friends after the divorce and she says stuff like, he can rot in hell. Which is really upsetting. I've asked him does he want to be friends and he says yeah, but my mom won't listen. Is there anyway I can make them see or at least talk to each other?

    Answer

I am sorry that your parents cannot put your well-being ahead of their own issues and are acting this way. Unfortunately, all you can do is find a counselor to talk with and make sure you are OK -- your parents will have to figure out their own "stuff." Good luck!
