Question
I am a virgin and my boyfriend and I have tried to have sex many times. But he doesn't get but maybe the head in and it hurts very bad -- almost to the point of crying. Is this normal and should we keep going?
Answer
As you know, there is often some pain associated with intercourse initially, but what you are describing sounds like more than expected. I would recommend that you see a nurse practitioner or physician and be checked out.
