    Question

Well I have a boyfriend and we are serious. But he gets mad because there is barely communication and he says I don't show I don't care. I know sometimes it seems like that but I really love him. I need help with communication.

    Answer

Hi, Well communication is a challenge for everyone, good for you to want to gather better tools to use. You might take a look at the 8-part series on the teen website called "Life Skills"; it is simple language covering concepts and techniques for good communication, and it applies to adults, adolescents, families, etc. Most of all, it's important that you stick to your healthy values and choices and be assertive with your feelings, you don't need to do things you don't want to do just to try showing you do care. You might share the Life Skills material with him and you can both practice together. Good luck!
