    Question

Is it wrong to talk to yourself when you don't hear and/or see any voices or visions? I don't have an imarginary friend or anything like that I just talk to myself. I've been doing it for a while now and want to know if it is bad. I'm a 14 year male please don't talk down to me

    Answer

Dear Teen: It is not wrong or crazy to talk to yourself and many people do it although usually not out loud. We all process conversations in our heads and sometimes it makes a lot of sense to listen to your own dialogue about a subject. If you talk out loud in front of other people they may think it is a little odd to hear what you are saying and you may choose to keep it to yourself.
