Question
Many of my best friends have been masturbating for quite sometime and say that it is the best feeling in the world...the few times I have tried it I have either felt numb or uncomfortable...never anything that I would consider pleasurable. I was sexually molested when I was about ten and I am wondering if it could have somehow affected my ability to orgasm...is this possible?

Sexual abuse leaves very deep scars and I am sorry that you experienced the molestation. I cannot say whether the abuse reduces your pleasure but it would be a good idea to talk to a counselor that specializes in sexual abuse. Good luck.
