Question
I started using an exfoliating for my oily skin and 24 hours later, little white bumps are all over my neck, do I continue to use the product, and how do I get rid of them
Answer
It's hard to determine from your question exactly what type of a reaction you had. You can get an irritant reaction or a true allergy from things you use on your face, and for most of these, 1% hydrocortisone over-the-counter should help clear it up. More importantly, exfoliation usually is not helpful to the skin, despite what you read in magazines or what you're told by estheticisms or cosmetologists. It's just a way to sell more products. If your face is oily to the point that it's noticeable to other people, you can use something like Seba-nil or another similar gentle drying agent.
