Question
Hi everytime i have sex lately i have been getting swollen after. It only lasts for an hour but then is a bit sore still. i have had thrush only the last week and the doc told me it had gone. I use KY jelly during sex. why do i keep getting swollen then? im not sure why and its really frustrating.

| The swelling may reflect overly vigorous activity, ie mild bruising just like you can get anywhere else when rubbed/chafed.
Or maybe you are slightly allergic to a product in a condom, soap,or lubricant.
Or it may be that you are not quite over the yeast infection and the tissue is still a bit tender.
Try avoiding sex for 2 wks and see what happens when you resume. If it recurs, please see a health care provider.
