Question
I'm able to get an erection easily when aroused, so I have no problem with not being able to achieve one, but when I get it, it doesn't become as erect as it is able to and will quickly become flaccid again. There was an incident when I was younger where I was playing with a friend in a pool and rough playing and he grabbed my crotch and twisted and ever since the vein on the top of my shaft loops one time and whenever I hold this vein down my penis will retain the erection and be very strong like normal. What's wrong?
Answer
It is VERY unlikely that rough pool play could result in any long-lasting damage to the penis.
Often the problem of losing the erection is caused by anxiety, or focusing on the erection while you have worry or doubt in your mind. If the issue persists, however, it would be good to see a Urologist. There are tests that can be done to ensure that the blood flow to and from the penis is normal.
