    Question

I am 18, and had sex for the first time about three months ago. we didn't use protection, and but he has been checked for everything already. I got my period the next day, and the next month. but shortly after my period stopped I have been having brown discharge with chunks in it. it's like the clear ball, I got when I was younger but brown. it doesn't smell or anything, it's just isn't the norm. I have the same amount of discharge as I did before I had sex, I am just scared there is something wrong with me. please help.

    Answer

The only way to know for sure is to have an exam, which you need anyway, because you are 18 and have had sex. Tell the provider you see about the sex and discharge so they check for sexually transmitted infections and get you started on a reliable method of birth control. Good luck and please, no more unprotected sex!
