Question
I have had dark brown vaginal discharge all day several times yesterday but I have not started my periods yet. Is this normal and should it only last for one day?
Answer
It may be that your body is starting your period - it may last one day or several. Keep track on a calendar and you may see a pattern. You may want to keep a pad and change of underwear with you for surprises! You will probably start your period soon - congratulations and welcome to womanhood!
