    Question

For about a year or to I have had this problem. Red spots sometimes appear on my penis and than it itches a little. Also, some kind of white cheesy substance appears on the head of the penis, not from inside but under the foreskin and in smells funny. I am sexually active and I never had any problems. Is this normal? Thank you in advance.

    Answer

It sounds like the substance you are describing is smegma. This is a discharge from the glands under the foreskin. There is a possibility of yeast infection under the foreskin as well. If you are having symptoms of itching or discharge from the urethra or opening of the penis then see a doctor. Otherwise I would suggest you peel the foreskin back and clean under it when you take a shower or bath. The itching red spots are beyond what I can answer, some things just need to be seen to diagnose them. Please see a doctor next time you have any symptoms.
