    Question

I'm 19 years old & just had sex for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The first night, I had sex 2 times. I didn't have any pain or bleeding. Then, 3 weeks later I had sex again with the same guy. During this time, I had to make him stop because he was being really rough & it was causing me to be in pain from the burning feeling. After he stopped, I got up & went to the bathroom to see that he had made me bleed. It also was burning when I went to pee. It only hurt for about 30 mins & then I was fine. It this because he was doing it so rough & because I'm not used to sex with it being only the 3rd time?

    Answer

I would vote it was from the roughness - and good for you for asking him to stop! The only way to know for sure would be to go have an exam, which you will need anyway to start on a reliable method of birth control. Please be using condoms and you can add some water-based lubricant to reduce friction, which could cause that burning sensation.
