    Question

I have been a Vegetarian for 2.5 months. However, I have recently become worried that it may be stunting my growth. I would like to be taller. Would supplementing vitamins and protein be less effective then just eating meat?

    Answer

Eating a vegetarian diet will not stunt your growth if you have a well-balanced diet that contains protein and vitamins to replace the meat. Your doctor can recommend nutritional guidelines to help guide your choices.
