Question
Some people say that getting your annual test for sexually transmitted diseases..some people say they only test for cervical cancer.... do different doctor check for different things when you get an annual?
Answer
The preventive guidelines policy for Palo Alto Medical Foundation are that a pap smear & chlamydia screening are done for sexually active females, 15-18 years old. If you have concerns or questions about this you should talk it over with your physician. Preventive Health Guidelines
