Are the Herpes Test that are available to order online accurate?
Answer
I would recommend against the online tests. The test they offer is a blood test for measuring antibodies to Herpes simplex. The test will merely tell you whether you have been exposed to Herpes. It will not tell you if you have an active case or are infectious. The best approach is to discuss this with your doctor and make an appointment to see your doctor if you are having any blister type lesions.
