    Question

What if I started my birth control a week late. Will that move my period back a week?

    Answer

Yes, BUT it also makes it really likely that you will get pregnant if you have unprotected intercourse. If you need to have your period at a differnet time it is better to go straight from one pill pack to the next -- often that will cause you to skip your period.

If you just forgot your pills -- go ahead and start them, but PLEASE use condoms for the first two weeks of the pill pack.
