    Question

I used to go tanning often but now I have started Accutane (I'm in my 3rd month). In my packet from the dermatologist it says to stay away from sun light but it doesn't say what will occur if I do go tanning. I know all dermatologists are against tanning but other than the obvious issues with tanning, would there be bad side effects because of my medication?

    Answer

Accutane can make you more sensitive to sunlight, therefore you could burn easier and faster than you normally would.
