    Question

Ok, my girlfriend and I just had sex for the first time, and afterwards her vagina swelled up, is that normal?

    Answer

Not normal, and may have been due to friction (not enough lubrication), maybe she is allergic to latex - assuming a condom was used, or something else that a doctor can help sort out. Now that you are sexually active, she needs a pap test and to start a reliable method of birth control, so when you and she make an appointment at a Planned Parenthood, you can ask the doctor. Good luck - and thanks for being the kind of guy who cares!
