Question
I know this happens to girls, but is it normal for a male (17 years old)) to have wide hips? My son looks as if his hips are a little wider than his shoulders. Will he grow out of them?
Answer
The only way to make sure that your son is hormonally where he should be would be to have him see a doctor who can evaluate him. Most kids are exactly how they should be, and some are not completely done with puberty at 17.
