    Question

This boy in my school raped me last year. We used to be friends before that though. Afterwards he acted like he didn't do anything wrong. He told everyone at school that I did it willingly. He would always try to kiss me or smack my butt in school. I only told one friend who didn't believe me. I didn't want to tell my parents because they'll blame me for letting him in the house alone. He doesn't bother me anymore but we have classes together still and he treats other girls the way he treated me. I don't want him to hurt anyone else but I don't want to tell what he did to me because my family is very closed-minded and would blame me. I want to help the other girls but don't know what to do. Please help.

    Answer

I am so sorry that you have experienced rape and are living with it. It is not easy and you need someone to talk with about what happened. Please call 1-800-656-hope or go to http://www.rainn.org/. They are there 24/7 and will connect you to someone close by who can talk with you. Good luck!
