    Question

I am 18 and have never had sex. I always get discharge which up to now has been normal. But the past three days I've had a discharge that is pink and dries redish/brownish. I also have some itchiness and burning when I wipe. What's going on?

    Answer

You may want to see a provider about this. The itching sounds like a yeast infection, common in women even if they've never had sex. But if you have ever had any gential or digital contact, then you should be checked also for sexually transmitted infections. The reddish color may reflect irregular uterine bleeding not during your regular menstrual cycle.
